Former Silver Fern and ONE Sport commentator Jenny May Coffin says the World Seven netball team guarantees entertainment in its series against New Zealand.
The star-studded team, made up of players from Australia, England and the Caribbean Islands, takes on the Silver Ferns on Monday.
"The Jamaicans (in the team) bring flair and that special something. They play a much less structured game than the New Zealanders or Australians," she says.
And Coffin sees that lack of structure as a potential problem for the Silver Ferns.
"It could be difficult for the Ferns, as they won't know what to expect. It can be hard when you don't know what your opposite number is going to do next."
Coffin expects the well-drilled New Zealand side to prevail over the scratch World combination, but is looking forward to some intruiging battles.
"If midcourters Frances Solia and Natasha Chokljat can provide good service to Aitken she will provide some real headaches for the Ferns defence."
The New Zealand side is building towards the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi and Coffin hopes that some of the promising youngsters will see some game time.
"It would be great it the likes of (Anna) Thompson and (Larissa) Wilcox feature in the series."
Coffin was on the fringes of the Ferns squad the last time they met a World Seven back in 2000 and recalls a fascinating series.
"It really captured the imagination last time and 2009 will be no different."
Coffin is part of the ONE Sport commentary team, working alongside Toni Street and Julie Coney.
