The Southern Steel will boast a Silver Ferns shooting circle after re-signing Daneka Wipiiti for next year's trans-Tasman netball league.
Wipiiti will team up with fellow fringe New Zealand international Paula Griffin, who last week left the Central Pulse to join the Invercargill-based franchise.
"There's been some nice signings that have come through, we've kept the core of our team and that's the nuts and bolts, but there are some quality additions," Wipiiti said.
The Steel also secured up-and-coming midcourter Hayley Saunders for next year's competition.
Silver Fern Liana Barrett-Chase, Leana de Bruin and Wendy Frew join Sheryl Scanlan, Te Huinga Reo Selby-Rickit and former Melbourne Vixens and Australian international Natasha Chokljat as confirmed Steel squad members.
