"The fact that there are virtually no dull patches in netball make it such a good TV sport, it's always exciting, always intense!"

Toni won a sporting scholarship to Lincoln University where she played cricket and studied commerce. After graduation, she did a post-graduate diploma at Canterbury University which led to a six-month internship at TVNZs newsroom in 2006.

From there she was appointed to the ONE News sports desk where she has worked since.

Toni also hosts various programmes for ONE Sport including ANZ Championship and International Netball and Contact Tri-TV.  She was also a roving reporter at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
