The Northern Mystics have kept themselves in touch with the leaders in the ANZ Championship after beating the Tactix 58-45.
5000 fans turned out to the match at Auckland's Vector Arena, which had been postponed due to February's Christchurch earthquake.
The win takes the Mystics level with the Waikato-BOP Magic on 12 points, six points behind the pace-setting Firebirds.
Meanwhile, the Tactix remain rooted to the bottom of the table with only one win this season.
The Mystics led throughout the match taking a 15-11 lead at the end of the first quarter.
The Canterbury side stayed in touch throughout the second to reduce the lead to just three at half-time.
However the home side proved to strong in the third quarter stretching their lead to 13 points to go into the final quarter up 47-34.
Catherine Latu was in fine form for The Mystics, shooting 29 from 32, while Silver Fern Maria Tutaia added 23/29.
Donna Wilkins was exceptional once more shooting 31/33 for the Tactix, but her shooting partner Anna Thompson could only add 12 goals from her 19 attempts.
