Two women have been charged with drugs offences after an armed police raid in South Auckland.
CIB and uniformed staff from Papakura and the Auckland armed offenders squad (AOS), searched three properties in Takanini and Papakura linked to an organised crime group.
Drugs including cannabis, methamphetamine and chemicals used to make methamphetamine, were found along with a loaded .22 pistol, ammunition and stolen goods worth $15,000.
Officers acted after receiving information from the Crimestoppers tip off line.
"Recovering stolen property valued at approximately $15,000 and taking drugs and firearms off the streets points to the success that Crimestoppers is having", says Counties Manukau Detective Senior Sergeant Albie Alexander.
