Woman injured at Remarkables skifield

A woman is in intensive care today after suffering injuries at the Remarkables skifield.

The Auckland woman suffered a brain injury and is now in Dunedin Hospital.

Newstalk ZB reports that the woman was found unconscious by a member of the public near the Shadow Basin lookout yesterday afternoon.

Paramedics attended the scene, before the woman was flown to Lakes District Hospital and then to Dunedin.
