A woman has been injured following the explosion of a gas cooker at Mayfair School in Hastings.
ONE News understands that a 29 year-old woman received burns to her neck, shoulder and arms in the incident.
She has been taken to Hastings Hospital, and is likely to be discharged later this afternoon.
The woman was cooking on a single burner cooker as part of a camping exercise before the appliance exploded, fire service staff said.
No children were in the area at the time of the explosion.
