A woman has died after falling seven storeys from a car park building in central Auckland.
Police have closed Kitchener Street after the woman fell just before 9am.
Ambulance services were called and found the woman on the footpath with critical injuries, police said.
She was transported to Auckland Hospital but has since died.
Police expect the road to be reopened shortly.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Police are working to identify and notify the woman's next-of-kin.
