Window cleaner critically injured in Auckland

A window cleaner has been injured on the job in Auckland this afternoon.

The 18-year-old woman was cleaning windows at the Lion Nathan Building in Newmarket when she fell about 30 metres from the roof of the building.

The teenager has been admitted to Auckland Hospital with severe injuries and is in a critical condition.

Police and ambulance attended the incident.

Occupational Safety and Health have been notified and are investigating, along with the police.
