Vicki Wilkinson Baker - Source: ONE News
Vicki Wilkinson-Baker is one of the senior members of the ONE
News team. She is currently based in the Christchurch newsroom
covering a wide variety of South Island stories.
Vicki has worked for TVNZ for around 20 years and in that time has
worked in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
She has worked for a variety of TVNZ programmes including Video Dispatch, she was the longest serving reporter on the Holmes programme before working for Fair Go and now ONE News.
In 1992 Vicki, her husband and two young daughters moved to Christchurch, which she describes as a fantastic place to live with the mountains and skifields so close, the beach just 10 minutes drive from home and work a short bike ride away.
For Vicki covering the South Island is a privilege with so many
amazing people, and so much stunning scenery.
When she is not at work she is usually found in the garden,
checking out dog parks with the family's golden retriever or
watching school sport.
