Police do not yet have an explanation for the death of a 48 year-old man in Manawatu on Saturday.
The man was staying at a house on Bainesse Road near Rongotea, and his body was discovered by the home owner at around 8.30am.
"We hope to have a post-mortem completed by tomorrow evening. At this stage the cause of death remains unexplained," Detective Senior Sergeant Marc Hercock said.
A scene examination has been completed and Police are making
inquiries to piece together the man's last movements.
