Two people have been found cold and wet after their boat overturned on Whangaparaoa Peninsula, Auckland.
An extensive search was launched by the police and Coastguard, with the assistance of the police and Westpac helicopters, after the pair got into difficulty.
The Rescue Helicopter found them on top of their upturned private fishing vessel about 150 metres off shore on the Manly end of Stanmore Bay Beach.
The Coastguard picked them up and took them to shore.
The men were in the water for about 45 minutes and were taken to hospital for routine checks.
