Police are investigating how two people fell through the roof of a building in Auckland this morning, critically injuring one of them.
Emergency crews rushed to Wellington Street in Howick just before 5am, where a man and a woman had fallen through the skylight.
Fire Service shift manager Jarron Phillips said the pair had been on top of an abandoned wool factory and fell about five metres to the ground.
He says the two are now in Middlemore Hospital.
One has critical injuries and the other has moderate injuries.
