August 2012: August 2012: Lance Corporal Jacinda Baker, 26, Private Richard Harris, 21, and Corporal Luke Tamatea, 31, died when their Humvee was hit by a roadside bomb.

August 4, 2012: Lance Corporals Rory Malone and Pralli Durrer, both 26, were killed after a fierce three-minute gun fight in a village near Do Abe, in north-east Bamiyan province.

April 2012: Corporal Douglas Hughes, 26, died in hospital as a result of an incident at the Forward Patrol Base Romero in the northeastern Bamiyan province.

September 2011: Lance Corporal Leon Smith, 33, was shot in the head during a raid on a compound in the province of Wardak, near Kabul.

August 2011: SAS trooper Corporal Doug Grant, 41, was shot by a Taliban insurgent while rescuing hostages from an office building in Kabul.

February 2011: Private Kirifi Mila, 27, died when the Humvee he was in went off a road in Bamiyan province. Mila was the turret gunner.

August 2010: Lieutenant Tim O'Donnell was killed in August 2010 after an ambush in Bamiyan.
