Rugby World Cup hero Adam Thomson has made a plea for the return of his All Blacks jerseys after they were stolen from his Dunedin flat.
Thomson returned from holiday to discover the World Cup jerseys were among items missing after what he believes was a meticulously planned break-in.
The back rower has a message for whoever is responsible.
"The other gear doesn't mean anything. Keep the clothes, keep the watches, if you feel you have a right to them. But if you've got any shred of decency then just return those things that are pretty important to me," Thomson said.
Police interviewed Thomson in his apartment this afternoon.
In a statement they have called for anyone with information on the buglary to come forward.
