Teenager hit by bus in central Wellington

A teenager has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a bus in central Wellington on Tuesday morning.

The accident happened on the corner of Bunny St and Lambton Quay at 8.15am, police say.

The 16-year-old male has been taken to Wellington Hospital where he was reported to be in a stable condition.
