Tauranga pizza worker robbed

Tauranga police are hunting two men who attacked a pizza delivery driver and stole his bumbag containing cash.

The pizza worker was assaulted through his car window and ordered to hand over the bag at an intersection in suburban Matua, about 9.45pm on Friday, Detective Rob McCaskie says.

The two attackers fled on foot.

McCaskie appeals to anyone with information to contact police.
