A six month long undercover drug operation in Queenstown has led to seven arrests.
Search warrants were executed on Wednesday in Queenstown, Dunedin, Oamaru and Christchurch.
Police say they were targeting people with international and drug-dealing connections.
Those arrested are facing changes of importing and selling drugs, including ecstasy and LSD and will appear in court over coming weeks.
Local police say they are liaising with Interpol, the Royal Mounted Police in Canada and Australian police, as some of those arrested have connections with an organised international crime syndicate.
