There are "serious concerns" for the wellbeing of a missing 15-year-old girl who disappeared from Feilding yesterday.
Jamie Beardsmore was last seen leaving a family member's home in Seddon Street at around 8:30am yesterday.
Sergeant Grant Lawton said the teenager may look younger than she is.
"She is described as European with a petite frame and blonde shoulder length hair," he said.
"Jamie could be mistaken as being a lot younger than 15 because of her slight frame and height."
Jamie is thought to have been wearing a black Angry Birds hooded sweatshirt, black trackpants and black school shoes when she disappeared.
She may also be carrying a blue mink blanket with dolphins on it.
"Given the concerns we have for her health and her age, we are seeking information from members of the public who may have seen Jamie over the past 24 hours, or anyone who knows her whereabouts," said Lawton.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Feilding police.
