Caritas Aotearoa New Zealand has launched a Pacific
Tsunami Appeal and is accepting donations online at
www.caritas.org.nz, by phone 0800 22 10 22, by
automatic $20 donation from a phone account 0900 4 11 11, or
cheques posted to Caritas, PO Box 12193, Wellington, 6144.
Mercury Energy Customers can donate to help Samoan disaster relief
online at
www.mercury.co.nz, by texting the word
Samoa followed by the amount you wish to pledge and your Mercury
Energy account number to 515 (e.g. Text 'Samoa 20 John
012345678'), or by calling 0800 10 18 10 between 7.30am and 9pm
Monday to Friday and 8am to 5pm on Saturday.

Foreign Minister Murray McCully also announced details of the
Pacific Cooperation Foundation Tsunami Relief Fund. Deposits can be
made at any Westpac branch.

Meanwhile TEAR Fund has launched emergency appeals to aid the victims of the three disasters that have struck the Pacific region including Samoa, the Philippines and Indonesia.
You can donate to TEAR Fund's Disaster Relief Fund at
tearfund.org.nz .
You can also phone 0900 90777 to give an automatic $20 donation or
give through donation boxes at The CD and DVD stores around New
Zealand.
The Samoa Travel website has set up a form for people to fill in if
they cannot locate loved ones. The details will be passed on to the
Samoan government who will add them to a list of individuals to be
