The RSA is slamming a historical military club as offensive and ignorant, for dressing up as Nazis.

Members of the Military Reenactment Society donned SS uniforms for a private dinner commemorating Armistice Day.

Photos show a group of men dressed up as Adolf Hitler's personal bodyguards, and posing with military motorbikes.

The dinner's theme was Germany in the 1940s.

Decorations included flags bearing the swastika and a framed photo of Hitler.

RSA national president Robin Klitscher says the group have failed to realise that for many those uniforms and symbols are more than just props.
