A man involved in an Auckland road rage incident in which an elderly driver was fatally injured has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

Twenty-seven-year-old student Bio O'Brien admits dragging Jashmatbai Patel from his van and punching him in the head following a minor collision with his BMW in Mt Albert.
 
The 78-year-old died later in hospital.
 
O'Brien will be sentenced at the end of September.
