A fourth earthquake has been felt in the country on Thursday.
The 4.7 magnitude quake struck 50 kilometres east of Taupo at 10.20am.
It was at a depth of 60 kilometres.
The quake follows 4.9 magnitude and 4.1 magnitude quakes in Hanmer Springs around 9.00am and a 5.8 magnitude quake off White Island at 9.30am.
