For the first time, ONE News can reveal the picture of the Rimutaka prison guard who allegedly grew and sold cannabis for inmates.
Jeffrey Mark Reid, appeared in court a short time ago on three cannabis-related charges, where his lawyer conceded there was a case to answer.
He was remanded on bail until early next year.
Reid was suspended from Rimutaka Prison after his arrest in june.
Another Rimutaka Prison officer, charged with supplying cannabis, appeared in the Wellington District Court on Friday morning. He was given name supression and remanded on bail until December.
Meanwhile, a female officer from Waikato's Spring Hill Prison has been stood down for smuggling drugs into the prison.
