Price tag of cup of tea could rise

A cup of tea could be about to become more expensive for Kiwis.

The international price of tea is soaring, according to the United Nations' Food and Agricultural Organisation.

It is because output in one of the world's biggest tea producers, India, is down more than 10%.

A lack of rain across most of the country has produced poor yields so far this year.
