Police seek info on Eketahuna crash

Police in the central North island are appealing for information about a vehicle involved in a serious crash near Eketahuna.

The woman driver of a Mitsubishi Gallant suffered serious injuries when she veered across State Highway Two and into a power pole on Friday afternoon.

The Police Serious Crash Unit is trying to find out the cause of the crash.

They want to hear from anyone who saw it happen, or who may have seen the vehicle in the moments leading up to it.

The car is a brown Mitsubishi Gallant with the registration number PP4827.
