Armed police raided the headquarters of a motorbike gang in Takanini on Wednesday morning.
Locals report the action started around 5am when police with loud hailers arrived, telling occupants to come out.
It is believed they used chainsaws to cut open the doors.
One man, who didn't want to be named, says the gang is fairly quiet and largely keeps to itself.
He says in the 20 years he's lived nearby he's never had an issue with them.
Police cordons in the light industrial area have been lifted.
