One dead after campervan crash

One person has died after a truck and a campervan crashed in the Waikato.

The incident happened in Hangatiki, south of Otorohanga, on the intersection of State Highway Three and Waitomo Caves Road at 1.55pm.

One woman who was in the campervan has died, and the two other occupants were also injured in the crash.

The vehicles were blocking the road and emergency services are at the scene.
