The government is winding down New Zealand's emergency medical response to the tsunami in Samoa.
Health Minister Tony Ryall says there have been no new tsunami related medical cases in the past two weeks.
In the immediate aftermath of the disaster, over 30 New Zealanders were flown in to help out of the more than 800 who volunteered to go.
The response effort is now being handed back to Samoa's own health agencies.
A small New Zealand team dealing with wound care and trauma counselling will stay on for another week.
