The Broadbent family - Source: ONE News
A New Zealand family has been expelled from Morocco, with authorities saying their Christian values were no longer acceptable.
For the last year and a half, the Broadbent family has been working at a Christian orphanage with 33 children in the Middle Atlas mountains.
They, along with 20 other international staff members, have been told to leave Morocco immediately.
Nine Moroccan policemen have put the Broadbents on a ferry to Spain.
Chris Broadbent says he and wife and their two young children were given an hour to pack their belongings and make their way to the port.
He says they hold grave fears for the wellbeing of the orphans they have left behind.
