An autopsy and further inquiries into the death of a 49-year-old Southland woman have ruled out any suspicious circumstances, say police.
They would give no further details about how Yvonne Marion Ross died, or why her body was found in the front yard of a vacant Gore house on Monday.
The woman had been at the Longford Tavern in east Gore on Sunday night with family and friends.
Her body was found the next morning, in the yard about 3km from the pub.
Her death has been referred to the coroner.
