  • Woman arrested in Gisborne murder

Police have named the man who died after an alleged murder in Gisborne on Tuesday.

Local man Lawrence Teepa-Moon, 33, died of stab wounds after police were called to a house party in Childers Road, Elgin at 10pm.

He was taken to a Gisborne Hospital but died on arrival.

A 30-year-old woman is due to appear in the Gisborne District Court this afternoon charged with his murder.
