Motorcyclist dies in Waihou crash

A 45-year-old man has died after a motorbike crash in the Waikato.

The Waihou man was killed when his bike collided with a car at around 6.45pm at the intersection of Campbell Road and State Highway 26.

The road was closed for several hours while police cleared the scene.

The two elderly people in the car were uninjured, and police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
