More students job hunting

More students are applying for jobs compared to this time last year.

Student Job Search has experienced a 27% increase in people looking for employment.

Lorna McConnon from Student Job Search says there have been over 5,000 enrolments over the last three weeks compared to 4,000 at this time last year.

She says students are being proactive because they know jobs are harder to get right now.

Lorna McConnon says in the Auckland region alone, enrolments have increased 48%.
