Molenaar's partner in court on drug charges

The partner of Napier gunman Jan Molenaar appeared in Napier District Court on Wednesday on three charges involving cannabis.

Delwyn Ismalia Keefe, 44, has indicated guilty pleas on one charge of selling cannabis and two others of offering to supply, and of possessing the drug for supply.

Her lawyer, Jonathan Krebs, successfully sought a remand on continued bail until September 22.

He says while his client had indicated she would plead guilty to the three charges, there was disagreement over some issues in one of the charges and these would be the basis of a disputed facts hearing in September.
