Three people missing in bush in two separate incidents have been found.
A 20-year-old man who was missing in the Waitangi bush in Kerikeri in the Far North was found safely at 7pm last night.
His 18-year-old friend came out of the bush alone at 1pm.
Police were concerned for the 20-year-old because he was thought to be intoxicated, was not carrying any warm clothing or food, rain was forecast and the terrain is steep.
Meanwhile there was relief for the parents of two 11-year-old boys who went missing on a family bush walk in Cambridge yesterday.
The boys had been walking on a track with their parents and an adult friend when the boys ran ahead and disappeared.
When the adults emerged from the bush at 4pm there was no sign of the boys.
A search was mounted last night and police say the pair were found.
