Connor Morris, the boyfriend of troubled former model Millie Elder, faces more criminal charges after a police search allegedly found methamphetamine and a glass pipe.

Elder, the estanged adoptive daughter of broadcaster Paul Holmes, was with Morris when police stopped him in Kumeu, north of Auckland on Wednesday, although only Morris was charged, the Sunday News reported.

The 21-year-old son of Head Hunter gang member Chris Morris appeared in Waitakere District Court on Friday, where he was remanded on bail to reappear next month.

Morris now faces nine charges in two different courts. He is due to appear on October 13 for a dangerous driving charge, then November 11 in Waitakere for having a knife in public.

The same day, he has a defended hearing in Auckland District Court with Elder, also 21, for possessing P, ecstasy and cannabis oil and receiving stolen property.

Morris returns to court two days later, facing a driving while disqualified charge.

Elder currently faces charges in three different courts. On Tuesday, she will be tried for theft, possessing P and cannabis in the Papakura District Court. On September 23, she returns to the court for another charge of P possession.

The day after, she is due in Auckland District Court with Morris to face drugs and theft charges.

Elder is receiving legal aid to pay for her defence.
