Metal leak at NZ Steel site

A steel site in Glenbrook, near Waiuku, is leaking metal.

Fire Services are containing the flow of molten metal after the NZ Steel site leaked 800 tonnes of metal onto the surrounding grounds.

The molten metal has not caused any injuries, nor is it threatening any buildings.
