The trial for the murder of Christchurch teenager Marie Davis is reaching a close with the jury now considering its verdict.
Dean Cameron, a 39-year-old roadworker, is accused of raping and killing the 15-year-old and dumping her body in the Waimakariri river.
Davis disappeared from her home early on April 6 last year, about 11 days before her naked body was found in the river.
Cameron denies the charges.
The Crown says DNA evidence links him to the crime.
