An Ashburton man who admitted having sex with a person under 16 years of age will be sentenced next month.
George Albert Marsden, 44, pleaded guilty to four charges when he appeared in Timaru District Court on Thursday, the Timaru Herald reported.
Marsden was charged with two counts of doing an indecent act on a person under 16, and two counts of unlawful sexual connection with a person under 16. The offending occurred in April 2009.
No summary was read as some facts were still under dispute.
Judge Jane Farish remanded Marsden in custody to February 24 for sentence.
