Police have growing concerns for a 21-year-old Levin man missing for more than a week.
Luke Rickett has not been heard from since April 15, when he left his home after lunch following an argument with family members. He has not accessed his bank account in that time.
Police say they are concerned for his state of mind as it is out of character for him not to contact his family for this length of time.
Police say most of Rickett's family and friends are in Levin and Palmerston North and he does not have his own transport. But they are not ruling out that he has travelled further afield.
Rickett has distinctive ginger hair which is cropped at the side and in a longer Mohican style on top.
He wears two tapered spike earrings in his left ear.
He was last seen wearing dark board shorts, brown steel toe-capped work boots, a short sleeved t-shirt and a black baseball cap with the letter 'M' on the front.
Anyone with information should call Levin police on 366 0500.
