The last of the three people seriously injured in the Napier shootings has been moved out of intensive care and into a ward at Hawke's Bay Hospital.

This comes as the police investigation into the shootings by gun-man Jan Molenaar begins to wind down.

Senior Constable Len Snee was shot dead, while Constable Bruce Millar and Constable Grant Diver and civilian Lenny Holmwood were critically injured in the three-day siege on Chaucer Road.

Bruce Millar improved over the weekend and has been moved into a general ward, but is still considered serious.

Grant Diver and Lenny Holmwood were moved into wards last week and are listed as stable.
