World peace and a Britney Spears concert are among the presents on Kiwi kids' wish lists this Christmas.

More than 250,000 calls have already been made to the North Pole via Telecom's Santa Line.

He says children are asking for standard gifts like Bratz Dolls and game consoles.

But he says there have been some less predictable requests as well - like the Britney Spears concert, peace on Earth, and an improved performance from the Black Caps.
