A group of New Zealand's best known actors and comedians are lending their support to the tsunami relief.
Several major aid organisations are continuing to take donations for tsunami victims and some Kiwi celebrities have lent a helping hand.
In a quiet Auckland park a weekly touch rugby game had some very familiar faces.
Samoan actor Mario Gaoa says the group came down for a game of touch and to help a worthy cause.
"We've got actors that play here, musicians and directors that play touch here and all of them wanted to do something to help the cause back home," Gaoa says.
While they joke around on the field many of the players have been directly affected by the destruction in the Pacific.
Actor Oscar Kightley is one of those who has personally felt the devastation of the tsunami.
"My mum's village was one of the ones wiped out on that south eastern tip and everything's gone," he says.
Gaoa has had a similar experience.
"Only last week I was talking to people in the places that got hit and they are not here any more," he says.
So as well as their low-key kick around team captain Robbie Magasiva sent out a text telling his team mates to bring in a bag of donations.
From cans of beans to boots to backpacks, the bags of donated goods will be packed into a shipping container and shipped directly to Samoa's disaster zone.
