Key's plane delayed in Hawaii

The Prime Minister's flight to a Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting has been delayed in Honolulu.

Key left on Wednesday with a delegation on board the Air Force Boeing 757.

A spokeswoman for Key says after arrival in Hawaii routine maintenance work uncovered a problem which is being looked at. The plane has not broken down, she says.

Key is on his way to Port of Spain, the Capital of Trinidad and Tobago, to attend the biennial Chogm.

The meeting takes place from November 27 to 29 as the Commonwealth celebrates its 60th anniversary.
