Hunt for Wellington knife attacker continues

The hunt continues for the man who stabbed a 23-year-old in central Wellington this week, police say.

A Feilding man was found seriously injured from multiple stab wounds on Tory St, about 5.40am Thursday.

He has since been released from hospital.

Police are looking for a Maori, aged about 25, shorter than 1.74m with short hair, who was wearing a black cap backwards.

There have been no new leads this weekend, police say.
