Want to do something for charity and get to touch a famous person at the same time?
March is Endometriosis Awareness Month and 10 of TVNZ's presenters are offering up a hug in an auction to raise money in the Endometriosis NZ Big Hug Charity Auction.
The presenters you can bid on are: Mark Sainsbury, Simon Dallow, Tamati Coffey, Pippa Wetzell, Toni Street, Jack Tame, Neil Waka, Greg Boyed, Karen Olsen and Renee Wright. Or if you'd like to make your hug public, you can bid on a group hug with the Good Morning crew of Hadyn Jones, Sarah Bradley and Brendon Pongia live on TV.
Plus ONE News presenter and netballer Jenny-May Coffin has offered up, along with her team the LG Mystics, four family passes to watch a Mystics homegame.
"I'm all about hugs!" says Breakfast's Tamati Coffey, while Greg Boyed promises to front up "with my hugging action!"
Each auction winner will also receive a tour of TVNZ in Auckland with 20/20 and ONE News presenter Miriama Kamo.
"This is fun," says Miriama. "It's an opportunity for New Zealanders to support a fantastic cause and get a Big Hug for their efforts from some bighearted stars!" she says. "I'm really looking forward to taking each successful bidder into TVNZ to meet their favourite presenter and get their Big Hug."
