Passengers were evacuated from an Auckland-bound Air New Zealand 737 flight in Wellington on Friday after what was thought to have been a hazardous substance was found in the hold.
After evacuating the 97 passengers, careful examination of the white powder found it was flour, Air New Zealand marketing manager Mark Street says.
Air New Zealand flight 410 was delayed for about an hour, while passengers were transferred onto another aeroplane after the substance was found.
