Foxton shooting appears gang-related

Police are appealing for information after what appears to be a gang-related shooting in the Manawatu town of Foxton last night.

A 25-year-old man was found inside a car on a driveway with serious hand and leg injuries.

The man is a member of the Nomad motorcycle gang and is in Hutt hospital in a serious condition.

The shooting followed a funeral earlier in the day for Dennis Hines, founder of the Nomad gang in Horowhenua and Otaki.
