Five hospitalised after Auckland crash

Five people have been taken to hospital after a crash between a car and a truck in Matakana in northern Auckland.

The injuries range from serious to moderate.

Leigh Rd is closed and is not likely to reopen until around 11pm.

There are no diversions available and police are asking people to avoid the area or delay travel.
